More than 60 years have passed since the recording. The masterpiece that now captivates the world is revived in a monaural version with overwhelming sound. Hideo Shiraki is a drummer who shines a bright light in Japanese jazz history with his unique musicality and presence. One of his representative works is this work, 'Festival Fantasy', recorded in 1961. Starting with the miraculous masterpiece/masterpiece 'Matsuri no Genso,' which is a Japanese melody arranged into an extremely cool mode jazz with a unique arrangement using the koto, there is also the thrilling 'Just One Or Eight,' and the exploding drum sound. There are a lot of exciting songs, such as 'Cherokee', which has an amazing solo performance. The performances by masters such as Hidehiko Matsumoto and Yuzuru Sera are also superb. After more than 60 years, the musicality is still innovative and the enthusiasm that rises from it. This work has now become a masterpiece that captivates the world. This time, we have realized the first analog reissue in monaural edition. We hope you enjoy this monumental work in Japanese jazz history with it's overwhelming sound. text by Yusuke Ogawa (UNIVERSOUND/DEEP JAZZ REALITY)LISTEN:https://youtu.
