Double vinyl LP pressing. Prior to his legendary tours with the Yardbirds and the Animals, even before the Checker singles that helped set off the British Blues craze of the early '60s, Mississippi Blues singer and harmonica player Sonny Boy Williamson cut his teeth recording these classic sides for the Jackson, MS based Trumpet Records. Originally released on 78 RPM, these recordings are some of the rawest and most powerful pieces in Williamson's discography and are now available together on this wonderful set.
