This collection presents orchestral works along with the Pathetic Oratorio featuring the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio conducted by Vladimir Fedosseyev in performances that reveal Sviridov's nationalistic influences that made him so admired in his homeland.
