This double LP has been thoughtfully sequenced by Testard, featuring an essential selection of tracks from the soundtrack such as Lumière, Une vie à peindre, and main character themes. The music in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pivotal in driving the emotive story that players have fallen in love with. Most tracks were written and recorded at Testard's home studio, with a selection also performed and recorded by the prestigious Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios, Paris. Testard's debut score is a musical painting that supports the game's Belle Époque setting.
