The Four Preps were arguably the most versatile vocal group of their era, comfortable in almost any format, be it folk, doo wop, r&r, pop, Tin Pan Alley standards and even comedic material. They recorded successfully in each of these styles, and in particular enjoyed enormous success with parodies, which became pretty much their stock in trade.
