30th anniversary black vinyl reissue of the Australian alternative rock band's debut album! Hailing from Adelaide, The Mark of Cain were originally influenced by bands like Joy Division, but were heavily into the early US hardcore scene and hence incorporated that sound in their recordings. As a result, tours and collaborations with the likes of Henry Rollins, Fugazi, Helmet, Pavement and Primus followed. Over the years, the band has attained cult status, which has in no small amount to do with Henry Rollins' enthusiastic support for them! 'Battlesick... that's just an amazing song. For me, just as a songwriter, that's the song for which you wish you wrote the lyrics.' (Henry Rollins)
