The legendary band The Scene delivered one of the most influential Dutch-language rock albums ever in 1990: Blauw. A record that not only stood the test of time, but also defined a generation. With iconic tracks such as "Blauw" and "Iedereen Is Van de Wereld", the album grew into a cultural touchstone, earning an Edison Award in 1991 and remaining a cornerstone of Dutch music history. Driven by the poetic, multi-layered lyrics of Thé Lau, singer, guitarist, and composer, Blauw radiates a unique atmosphere. Lau drew inspiration for the title track from the characteristic color palette of Greek restaurants, while "Iedereen Is Van de Wereld" evolved into a unifying anthem that embraces society as a whole. Blauw is now available exclusively as a limited edition on tie-dye blue and black coloured vinyl, and includes an insert with song lyrics.
