The Ultimate Collection: Ska Anthems is a 5CD set containing 100 tracks of a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s right the way through to the commercial chart hits from the Trojan label of the late 60s and onto the ska revival of the late 70s and early 80s. Including original ska classics by The Maytals "Monkey Man" and Dandy Livingstone's "Rudy, A Message To You" both of which went on to be covered by The Specials, Harry J All Stars' football terrace anthem "The Liquidator", the very best in instrumental ska by The Skatalites plus big hit singles from the ska revival by Madness, The Beat and The Selecter.
