Supafunkanova Volume 2 was selected by Joey Negro and Sean P which together have already compiled several albums including "Disco (Not Disco)", "Destination Boogie" and the popular series Soul of Disco. The dynamic duo continues to dig deep to find songs that allow them to fill albums with a high level of quality crammed with lesser-known gems in the field of hard funk and disco boogie. As the series title suggests Supafunkanova puts it's focus on the funkier side of the disc production of the late 70 early 80 including some of the most irresistible grooves recorded in a period of record in which even James Brown has had to take note of the explosion of disco caused by Saturday Night Fever.
