One of the many labels founded by George Goldner, Rock & Roll's most influential entrepreneur, one of the best mambo dancers in New York and the man who invented the $100 dollar handshake, Gone Records features a multitude of artists from those in their career's twilight years (Bill Haley and His Comets) to those on the ascension to stardom (The Isley Brothers).The catch line from a musical made of the life of Goldner is the mind of Einstein, the ears of a teenager. While George Goldner was no Nobel Prize-winning scientist, he certainly made his mark on Fifties and Sixties pop.
