3-CD box set features great French explorer Paul-Emile Victor reading his book "The Great Starvation," recorded by the National Radio in year 1956. 20 years earlier, the navigator returned from a winter expedition in the North Pole. There, he had spent the entire winter with an Eskimo community, and to get to know them better, he learned their language and culture. The book he wrote when he came back features the genuine story of a major trauma in the Eskimo's history: the great famine of the years 1882 and 1883. In French.
