Seth Vogt's debut artist album, "Whatever After," dropped this past summer to rave reviews and incredible DJ support. As we said at the time, it is "a culmination of Seth's musical journey to date- an audio compendium of career-defining and genre-defying pieces of audible art. " We stand by that assessment, and several months later, it checks out. And a slate of amazing remixes of tracks from "Whatever After" are on the way over the next few months! "Liquid Assets" is the first of several single releases and remix EPs from the album, and it comes fully loaded with two fantastic remixes. A collaboration between Seth and his brother, Dylan. JK. Vogt, "Liquid Assets' is a deep, melodic groover; a euphoric exploration of chords and melodies that stir the soul and move the body. Bedrock artist and all-around legend Mono Electric Orchestra (aka Barry Jamieson; Evolution, long-time Sasha collaborator) steps up the energy (but just a little), and brings a new depth and groove to the proceedings, elevating the melodies to new heights. It's a truly sublime piece of music that will be played for years to come by fans of organic and progressive house alike. Taking things deeper into darker progressive territory, and returning to Dissident following massive support on his AN / NA EP earlier this year, is Panayiotis Tassis.
