Funny thing is this musical Texan never set foot in the States until he was an adult. In fact, he still calls his native England home. But the music of British singer/songwriter Wes McGhee is as Texan as it gets. He understands Texas, and it has loved him right back since he began recording records there in the late seventies. Just ask some of the Texas artists he's worked with, like Jimmie Dale Gilmore or Butch Hancock. Wes is a thoughtful writer and vocalist who likes to rock and put all his influences into a recording. This career retrospective pulls his best tracks together, and it's as sweeping a catalogue as the West Texas Plains, so it is with great Texas pride that SteadyBoy Records brings you this three-disc set (at a single CD price)
