Backed By The Cream Of The P-Funk Crew The Album Was Sensational. At This Time The P-Funk Collective Was Always In The Studio Laying Down Tracks For A Multitude Of Bands That Included Parliament, The Brides Of Funkenstein And Parlet. The Chemistry On All These Classic Recordings Is Evident And "A Blow For Me, A Tot For You" Is Up There With Albums Like "Funk Or Walk" Or "The Mothership Connection". Most Of The Material Was Penned By George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell And Glen Goins Including The Seminal 'Up For The Down Stroke' 'When In Doubt; Vamp' And 'Four Play'.
