ANNIVERSARY EDITION-140 GRAM VINYL-REMASTERED

PATRICIA ANN COLE (aka P.P. Arnold) was born and raised in the Watts neighbourhood of south Los Angeles in 1946. At the age of just seventeen she joined the Ike & Tina Turner Revue as an Ikette and began a life-long music career. In 1966 she toured the UK with the Revue supporting the Rolling Stones where she befriended Mick Jagger. It was his suggestion that she relocate to London and sign to Immediate Records. In 1967 She released her debut album First Lady Of Immediate resulting in three hit singles. The following year she released Kafunta and the hit single 'Angel Of The Morning'. This long-awaited, unreleased - 3rd Immediate album - premieres this summer as part of the 60th Anniversary celebrations of Andrew Loog Oldam's independent Immediate Records. Hear, for the first time, PP Arnold's take of the Erma Franklin classic 'Piece Of My Heart' plus unreleased songs, amazing studio demos and alternate takes, all in stereo for the first time.
