Lauer will release his second album, Borndom, through Permanent Vacation in May 2015. In addition to his solo work, Phillip Lauer is a regular collaborator. He's one half of Tuff City Kids (with Gerd Janson) and Arto Mwambe (with Christian Beiwenger), and he recently contributed to a side of DJ Sotofett's double-pack on Honest Jon's. On Borndom Lauer delves further into his breezy, arpeggio-heavy style of dance music, with vocal contributions from Ela (on "Telefon" and "Alright") and Jasnau (on "ESC"). It arrives three years on from his debut solo full-length, Phillips, which came out on Running Back in 2012.
