Philadelphia's A Country Western return with a record that pushes the sound they've spent nearly a decade building, arriving with less of the immediacy that drove 2024's Life on the Lawn. Electronic textures surface in the seams between guitar parts and across the instrumental passages, while several songs settle into slow burns that reward patience over impact.
