Genre: Rock
New Yorker Anthony Parasole provides three powerful, dancefloor productions for Velocity EP. "Velocity" wastes no time with it's supremely-tight drum programming, jerky bassline, and synth notes that spiral into space. "Bang" has similarly skipping percussion and a looped melody which reveals itself before the pulse beats on. The restrained, warehouse feel and human touch to the rhythm of "Hot Zone" explores the sweet spot between house and techno. His sonic voice between the two genres is founded on his wider influences, and the result carries a subtle funk, muscular beats, and a hint of NYC swagger.
