English composer Marcus Blunt's (b. 1947) work is mainly instrumental, from piano solo to large orchestra, and has been performed internationally. Murray McLachlan, since his 1986 professional debut one of the UK's most acclaimed pianists, has long been a champion of contemporary piano music.. Originally given very limited release the works here are now receiving their first full commercial release.
