In the late '90s, Bride transitioned from their heavy metal roots to a more bluesy, modern rock sound, releasing a couple albums with Organic Records. However, in 2001, the band took a bold step in a different direction with their one and only album influenced by rapcore, a genre that had gained popularity through bands like P.O.D. and Thousand Foot Krutch. But Cornerstone Fest 2001 would see the band return to their metal roots in a big way, delivering a tight, energetic set of classic metal tracks that fans had been longing for. This performance was part of the 80's Metal Retro Night with M8, a special event that celebrated the music and ministry of the Christian metal scene, and Bride was at their best, bringing back their legendary sound and showing that the band still had plenty of fire left. This 2025 reissue brings the classic Cornerstone performance back to life, remastered by Rob Colwell for optimal sound quality. The 12x12 full color lyrics insert that includes lyrics as sung live, band pics and fresh 2025 Dale Thompson reflections, and a lengthy write-up from the original release. The new artwork, vastly improved by NLTM Graphics, captures the energy and power of the live performance while adding a modern touch to the visual presentation.Limited to 200 Orange Vinyl, this reissue features all ten live tracks from Cornerstone 2001, including one unreleased song, I Saw the Light/Power in the Blood Medley, making this release an essential piece for any Bride fan or lover of classic Christian metal. The set includes iconic songs from all of Bride's classic releases, reminding fans of their metal greatness and the ministry they've carried through the years. For fans of Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, and Dio, this is a celebration of everything that made Bride a powerful force in Christian heavy metal. Whether you're revisiting the set after all these years or discovering it for the first time, this reissue is a powerful reminder that Bride's music and ministry have always transcended trends and will continue to inspire listeners.
