Jeremy Brown, known for his extensive and diverse musical background as a conductor, classical saxophonist, flautist, free improviser, and author of such books as 'The Wind Band Music of Henry Cowell' and the forthcoming 'New Perspectives on Jazz Patronage', has been a key figure in the jazz scene since his junior high days. He has graced stages as a soloist with prestigious ensembles like the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ottawa Symphony, and the Okanagan Symphony, and served as lead tenor with the Calgary Jazz Orchestra. This album marks the fulfillment of Brown's long-standing dream to unite these exceptional musicians in a recording of original compositions.
