(2 albums on one CD) Carmen Leggio is a legend among working New York musicians. He has played tenor and alto sax through the years with various big bands (Herman, Ferguson and others) and has fronted his own groups, but very few people in the jazz community even know of his existence. All the tunes on this CD are sort of a cavalcade of his own musical career through the years, and he's joined by Milt Hinton, Derek Smith, George Duvivier, Ronnie Bedford, John Bunch and Butch Miles.
