Two LPs of accordion music by Dick Contino, "the world's greatest accordionist", who takes the listener on a musical journey from Italy to South America with classics such as "Santa Lucia", "Arrivederci Roma", "Brazil" and "Tico Tico". Digitally re-mastered in glorious stereo, with an additional four bonus tracks. Dick Contino was at his most popular in the 1950s and 1960s when he performed regularly on TV (the Ed Sullivan Show) and broke house records in showrooms from Atlantic City to Las Vegas. The two themed albums on this CD were originally issued on the Mercury label in the early 1960s and are now making their CD debut.
