The New Yorker calls Ehud Asherie "A master of stride and swing" and his latest recording "Wild Man Blues" showcases his mastery of these styles. You can hear the influences of James P Johnson, Fats Waller and Bud Powell in his playing. Joining him are Peter Washington on bass and Rodney Green on drums.
