Good Shot, released by Belgian heavy metal band FN GUNS in 1990, reflects the energy and evolution of the band throughout it's career. Recorded with the new guitarist Pat Lemoine (from the Belgian band CRYME), the album continues in the tradition of the band's previous albums, uniquely blending classic heavy metal with elements of hard rock.Formed in 1982 in Liège, Belgium, FN GUNS gained notoriety with their self-produced debut album Wild Child (1982). After signing with Mausoleum Records, they released the mini-album FN Guns (1983) and Nightmare (1984). In 1987, they released the album Burnin' Out with some changes in the lineup. For Good Shot, the band already had Steve Rodgers on vocals and the addition of Pat Lemoine on guitar brought a new dynamic to the sound.Good Shot features nine tracks that mix heavy riffs and melodic hooks. Tracks like "Don't Cross The Line" and "S.O.S. For Love" highlight the band's ability to create catchy songs, while the cover of The Beatles' "I'm the Walrus" offers a metallic reinterpretation of an all-time classic. The album stands as a testament to FN GUNS' perseverance in the vibrant European metal scene of the 1980s, also capturing the essence of Belgian heavy metal and the band's ambition to reach a wider audience.Reissued for the first time in 35 years since it's original release, we are pleased to bring you the definitive edition of Good Shot in CD format, featuring previously remastered audio, unreleased bonus tracks, and booklet with rare photos plus band biography depicting this era of the band. For fans of: STEELOVER, AC/DC, SCORPIONS, SAXON.
