Almost four years after the release of The Halfpenny Marvel LP, Ginsberg's Inkling (John Creary) returns with this brilliant dark art-rap sophomore album, Ummm. Entirely self produced, Ummm is another sample heavy production, showing impressive progression in craftsmanship. The scope is broad and unpredictable like a spontaneous pub crawl. Dope scratching and turntablism lurks in abundance, courtesy of DJ Braille and DJ Xaolin, respectively. Guest appearances by Planit and Piper Davis only thicken the illness.
