Héctor Valentín Larrondo Ricardo was born in Havana in 1958. During his long professional life, he has formed part of many Cuban groups as well as his own band including Orquesta 'MVS', 'Melodías del 40' and 'La Familia', but he is best known as the lead Singer in Orquesta 'Reve' and 'Adalberto Álvarez y su Son'. He joined 'Reve' in 1985 and stayed in the band until 1989 when he joined 'Adalberto Álvarez y su Son'. He stayed in this band until 1990 when he joined the 'Familia'. In 1992 he decided to form his own band.During his long professional life he has recorded and participated in over 10 long plays including in 1997 the CD 'Changuí en casa de Nora' with Orquesta 'Revé' on Tumi Music label.During his long artistic life he has toured the world with Orquesta 'Reve' as well as with Orquesta 'Adalberto Álvarez y su Son'. In 1999 he came to live in Mexico City participating in festivals and concerts throughout the Mexican Republic..Me Quité is a master production of musical director, composer, arranger and producer Manolito Simonet with contribution from Adalberto Alvarez. Salsa lovers highly revere Manolito Simonet for the innovative and unique musical sound of his band Manolito y su Trabuco. And for the same reason Salsa lovers who are fans of his band will enjoy this production which is a melting pot of Son, Salsa and tropical arrangements combined with the incredible vocals of Héctor Valentín.Me quité es una producción magistral del director musical, compositor, arreglista y productor, Manolito Simonet con la contribución de Adalberto Alvarez.
