'Marty Holoubek is a Tokyo-Based Bassist and Composer from Adelaide, AUSTRALIA. After being a fixture in the Melbourne music scene for many years, Marty currently resides in Tokyo, Japan performing with local and international acts as well as working as a freelancer on various other musical projects. Eiko Ishibashi is a Japanese multi-instrumentalist whose work has ranged from acclaimed singer-songwriter albums to film scores for film and television to improvised music settings. Recent works includes the soundtrack to the film 'Drive My Car' as well as the solo album 'For McCoy' released from Black Truffle. Tatsuhisa Yamamoto is a drummer from Yamaguchi, Japan well known throughout the country for his work with a surprisingly wide range of musicians and theatre groups. Trio ? is the third instulment of his continued explorotion of recording in the format of a trio. While this format has obvious limitations, at it's best it can feel limited. This volume features Eiko Ishibashi and Tatsuhisa Yamamoto. He has worked with these two exceptional musicians regularly over the past three years of his time have in Japan and it's always an inspiring experience.
