Francis Harris's exquisite Scissor And Thread showcases Tokyo's Tomi Chair, aka Tominori Hosoya. The DJ and producer goes by both names. The original version of title track is a deep and thoughtful dancefloor number. The "Dream Version" strips the track down to it's pads and atmospheres. "Heat Exhaustion" is an exceptionally beautiful, beatless piece that drifts through drone-y pads and occasional fragments of minor key melody. Using the Tominori Hosoya moniker, "We Are Here" is another powerfully restrained piece that merges woody percussion with low key pads. Francis Harris adds his touch to "Heat Exhaustion" with his respectful "Reform" version.
