J.P. Robinson is an obscure but acclaimed soul singer who signed with T.K. Productions and released a string of popular singles on Alston, Atco and Blue Candle labels from 1968 to 1974. This compilation features all of his known T.K. Recordings: 20 tracks recorded in Miami and Muscle Shoals with T.K. staff producers Brad Shapiro, Steve Alaimo, Clarence Reid and Willie Clarke. Features informative liner notes by John Ridley and digital mastering by Paul Mooney.
