Digitally remastered and expanded edition including bonus track. Evolution was a 1985 solo album from the Brothers Johnson originally released on vinyl only in Europe. Louis is also known for his session playing on several hit albums of the 1970s and 1980s including Michael Jackson's Thriller, the best-selling album of all time. His signature sound was from the Music Man StingRay bass which Leo Fender especially made for him to first use and promote, and from his slapping technique. He is ranked #38 on Bass Player magazine's list of "he 100 Greatest Bass Players of All Time.
