Digitally remastered edition of this rare live album. This release contains a rare batch of Paris recordings made by Stan Getz in a quartet and quintet format during his 1958 European tour. He is backed by renowned local musicians, such as pianists Martial Solal and Rene Urtreger, and bassist Pierre Michelot, plus American drummer Kenny Clarke and guitarist Jimmy Gourley. Another quartet set taped in Denmark in 1960 and a rare quintet performance with Donald Byrd taped in Germany in 1958 (Getz's only existing version of John Lewis' 'Fontessa') have been added here as bonus tracks.
