Limited edition 180g vinyl - the complete LP + 2 bonus tracks. This release presents the complete original album 'Bossa Nova York', recorded in New York with Sergio Mendes own trio, plus his mentor Antonio Carlos Jobim on guitar, and American jazz players Art Farmer, Phil Woods, and Hubert Laws. The LP was originally released in the US as 'The Swinger From Rio' and was Mendes' first LP after moving to the United States in the early 60's.
