Danish singer and songwriter MØ became worldwide known artist back in 2015. This all because her collaboration single, Lean On, with Major Lazer and DJ Snake that became a huge commercial. The song reached in more than 10 countries #1 and became in November 2015 the most streamed song on Spotify with more than a billion streams. However, this was an artist who had already been working on her career for a long time. MØ's interest in music began at a young age with the Spice Girls, but shifted towards punk music in her teens, with Sonic Youth as her biggest inspiration. She began her career with this EP: Bikini Daze, on which she collaborated with Diplo (Major Lazer) and Ronni Vindahl (who has worked with Avicii and Kendrick Lamar). The EP was praised at the time of it's release for MØ's willingness to challenge pop conventions. These four tracks marked the beginning of an artist with an impressive career, who, to this day, continues to release incredibly interesting indie- and electronic-inspired pop music.
