2009 release containing a pair of original albums from the Jazz greats on one CD: Riverboat Dandies and Two Beat Generation. Ray Bauduc was a trend setter in traditional Jazz circles and Nappy Lamare's vocals were made famous through Bob Crosby's Bobcats plus many other hot recording sessions. Together they formed Riverboat Dandies and worked consistently through the '50s becoming famous in Dixieland circles. Both these albums capture their fantastic sound that literally croons, shouts and whispers through the stomps, spirituals and marches that rocked the bars, clubs and decks! So sit back and dig them. 24 tracks. Jasmine.
