The duo, both accomplished musicians in their own right, have joined forces on a number of projects in the past, most notably as members of the UK's best-loved Genesis Tribute band, ReGenesis. Doug has also contributed to Tony's other projects, including his solo album 'Equations of Meaning', and his acclaimed collaboration with Brendan Eyre.Recorded in 2020 and completed in Autumn 2021, Dark Before Dawn follows on from The Divide both lyrically and musically but is instrumentally more diverse and ambitious than their first album. Lyrically, although there are still songs which look at the current state of the World, there is a greater focus on relationships and emotions.
