Vinyl LP pressing. 2017 release from the Portland-based singer/songwriter. Soul Sick is the long-awaited follow-up to 2014's Slap Back. Doo-wop harmonies, slippery British invasion keyboards, and crunchy, fuzzed-out guitars back Ford's distinctive howl and surround her at-once intimate and confrontational musings on love, depression, and fear throughout Soul Sick's 11 scorching tracks. Recorded in her hometown of Portland, OR with producer Mike Coykendall (M. Ward, She & Him, Bright Eyes) and engineer and mixer Adam Selzer (the Decemberists, Langhorne Slim, Blind Pilot). When Sallie Ford first burst into the music scene she quickly established herself as one of the most powerful voices in indie rock.
