2015 release from the British singer/songwriter. For a decade Sam Duckworth existed (musically) under the opinion splitting moniker Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. In these 10 years he amassed four albums and four Top 40 singles. He graced the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, Mainstage at Reading/Leeds and Bestival, closed the Astoria and bought EMO to the Congo and Nigeria as part of Damon Albarns Africa Express. However he soon got sick of explaining what the band name meant (secret: it didn't mean much) and in September 2014 he laid his cape to rest with a celebration at Kentish Town Forum. The past few years have been an interesting one for Mr. Duckworth. A near fatal bout of waterborne parasites threw things off course for a bit. Throughout the recovery he assembled a cast of over 40 musicians to create the stunning Amazing Grace LP, named after his Hoxton Recording Studio, with the renewed sense of wit and vigor that bought him to prominence in his early 20s. It showcases a modern political artist not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. "People always talk of second chances, but I guess this really is the case for me. Getting ill was a chance to learn and to streamline. I'm ready and raring to get back to doing what I love the most; playing shows and making recordings.”
