After two years of heavy touring behind the Polaris Prize nominated Transistor Sister (YC-009, 2011) and as a member of the John K Samson (of The Weakerthans) Provincial Band, Shotgun Jimmie landed in a cold snow-bound cabin on the banks of Lake Clementi, Manitoba with a suitcase full of songs and a trusty old four-track.
