Steven Brown is one of the creative mainsprings behind the cult left-field band Tuxedo moon. As a solo artist he has recorded some ten solo albums including Music for Solo Piano (1983) Searching for Contact (1987) Half Out (1991) & Nine Rain (1996). in 2002 LTM released a Best of collection titled Decade. Searching for Contact is his third solo album recorded in 1987 for PIAS Records with collaborator Nikolas Klau & inspired by the works of Genet & Burroughs. The original.
