One of the great vocal harmony groups of the 1950's, The Pearls hailed from Detroit and were led by Howie Guyton who sang high tenor lead, David Clowney, better known as Dave "Baby" Cortez, sang tenor and played piano. The group also included Derek Martin, Coley Washington and Geo Torrance. The recordings presented here were from their tenure with Jerry Winston's Onyx label during 1956 and 1957. Includes their legendary version of Hank Williams' "Your Cheating Heart. All selections newly re-mastered.
