This is the story of three little locomotives and 33 cars climbing Cumbres Pass, on the Colorado-New Mexico border" says Vinton Wight, who recorded this "tale" in 1958. The album focuses on one specific train ride that was documented and recorded by Wight in the form of a tale of it's journey through a rocky mountain pass. Wight says: "Here is truly a page out of the past. As [the train cars] struggle you can close your eyes and see the locomotives that preceded them in years gone by... what tales these mountains could tell." Liner notes include detailed information on the journey and train.

Tracks:
1.1 A Ride on the Train to Yesterday
