Considered one of the most powerful promotion and marketing persons in the music business, Wally Roker represented more than 10 major record companies and most of the top labels in the world, specializing in R&B. In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, Roker operated his own boutique record labels: Canyon Records, Roker Records and the affiliated imprints RRG Records, Maple Records and Black Fox.
