Less well-known is this live recordingfrom Berlin, 1947, arguably offering abetter conducted performance from thebaton-wielding maestro. Unfortunately, Act I is lost. This release, re-mastered from theoriginal masters of Act II and III invery good sound, all adds up to a veryprecious document indeed!
